Itinerary
The 6-day desert tour from Casablanca will begin upon arrival at Mohammed V Airport. Our chauffeur will welcome you and escort you to your hotel for relaxation. Next, we will take a brief sightseeing tour of Casablanca. It is Morocco's main economic hub and a melting pot of cultures. Our itinerary features a visit to the Hassan II Mosque. Many know it as one of the largest mosques in the world. This tour will offer a glimpse into the architectural and cultural variety of the city.
Today, we’ll head toward Fes. The drive to Fes takes us through beautiful farmlands. There, farmers grow olives, cereals, vegetables, and grapes. Before we reach Fes, we will stop at Meknes and Volubilis. Volubilis has famous Roman ruins. These ruins are from the southernmost edge of the Roman Empire. Moulay Ismail started the first Arab dynasty in Meknes. It features the Madrasa Bou Inania and the Bab Mansour, which is the entrance to the Moulay Ismail Palace. This brings us to the Henri es-Souani, the horse stable and granaries. Upstairs, there’s a rooftop garden and café with a beautiful city view. Afterward, we arrive in Fes and check into our hotel.
An incredible historical day is about to start. Meet your local tour guide. Then, start your day with a full exploration, beginning at the Golden Palace Gates. Next, go to Borj Sud for a stunning view of the Medina. Then, visit the pottery factory to see local artisans at work.

In the morning, we leave Fes to reach the Golden Dunes of the Merzouga Desert. We’ll pass through the gentle Middle Atlas Mountains. Also, we will stop in Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Africa. Next, we visit the national park of Azrou, a forest where wild Barbary macaques have settled as their home. Afterward, we stop in Midelt for lunch. Then, we head to Erfoud, the gateway to the Sahara Desert.
Once we reach Merzouga, mount your camel and cross the golden dunes. Stop along the way for a stunning view of the desert village. Then, enjoy a mesmerizing sunset. When you reach your desert camp, you'll enjoy a glass of tea. Next, a tasty dinner awaits you. Finally, relax to the soothing sounds of Berber music. Overnight stay in the camp.
Travelers start their adventure in the calm dunes of Merzouga. They leave the endless ochre sands behind as they head toward the horizon. Rissani, the ancient capital of the Alaouite dynasty, shows Morocco’s royal past. You can explore lively souks and historic sites there. The route continues through the stunning Todgha Gorge. Here, tall canyon walls shaped by the Todgha River create a beautiful scene.
The journey starts in the stunning gorge. Then, it moves into the lovely Rose Valley. Here, the air smells sweet with blooming roses in spring. Finally, travelers reach Ouarzazate, the “Gateway to the Sahara.” This desert city is famous for its kasbahs, film studios, and breathtaking views. Overnight in a lovely riad in Ouarzazate.
Today, we leave Ouarzazate for the old fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou. This UNESCO World Heritage site captivates with its maze of earthen buildings. They sit at ease within the tall walls of the kasbah. Evoking centuries of Berber history and culture. The route continues, winding through the stunning views of the High Atlas Mountains. Ascending the winding roads of Tizi N’Tichka Pass.
As travelers ascend, panoramic vistas unfold, revealing terraced valleys. Jagged peaks, and traditional Berber villages clinging to the mountainsides. The journey ends in Marrakech, the lively heart of Morocco. Here, you can explore bustling souks, ornate palaces, and vibrant squares. Your driver will take you to the airport or your hotel.
