Day 01 :
Airport Transfer

A one-week tour from Marrakech begins when you arrive at RAK Airport. Your tour guide will be waiting to take you to the hotel. You will get a free evening to walk around the Medina. Enjoy dinner at one of the nearby rooftop restaurants. Overnight stay in Marrakech.

Day 02 :
Marrakech to Boumalne Dades

It is time to head on your 7 Days Desert tour from Marrakech. Drive through the Tizi n’Tichka pass. It's Morocco's highest peak and the first stop on the week-long trip from Marrakech. You’ll see many Berber kasbahs along the road, and the Atlas Mountains will take your breath away. Along the way, your tour guide will make various stops for photos and explanations.

Day 2 of our 7-day desert tour from Marrakech includes a stop in Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This charming, empty kasbah was the set for famous movies like The Mummy and Gladiator. It also featured in the latest season of Game of Thrones. Aït Benhaddou sits next to the Caravan Route. This route links the Sahara Desert to Marrakech. Take a guided tour inside the kasbah to immerse yourself in the Berber buildings.

Recently, on our one-week Marrakech trip, we drove to the Atlas Film Studios in Ouarzazate. We completed the day with another 2 hours' drive to Boumalne Dades.

Day 03 :
Boumalne Dades to Merzouga Desert

The next day will come with new adventures. After breakfast, we will drive into the Dades Valley. The landscapes filled with small Berber villages are breathtaking. This 7-day tour in Morocco will stop to picture the Tisdrine snake road.

Continue to Todra Gorges, the pearl of southeast Morocco. We would detour around and take pictures. The beginning of the gorge is a must-see photo opportunity.

The best part of the 7 Days Desert tour from Marrakech is still waiting for you: Merzouga. After a short break and some tasty mint tea in Merzouga, you’ll take a one-hour camel ride over the vast Erg Chebbi dunes.

Your camel guide will pause at the top of the dunes to give you the best view of a spectacular sunset. Keep the ride from there to the campsite. Overnight stay in tents under a sky filled with stars.

Day 04 :
Explore the Merzouga Desert

Wake up a few minutes before dusk, have breakfast, then return to your starting point on camels. Join our 7-Day Tour of Morocco from Marrakech. We’ll discover the hidden gems of the Sahara Desert. Once the camel drops you off, your tour guide will be there to begin the 4WD drive.

Hassi Oasis, located between Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi dunes, will be the first spot of the day. You can see how villagers use drainage channels to get water and farm under palm trees.

Coming next to the highest dune in the desert, you will have a chance to climb up for the best view of Erg Chebbi. Merzouga’s highest dune can reach up to 200 meters.

Afterward, we’ll head via Merzouga’s town center to Black Village. Another fresh mint tea, flowing with the Gnawa party. The Gnawa are famous in this area. They originated in Sub-Saharan countries like Sudan, Niger, and Mali.

Next, visit the Merzouga mines. The first detailed study of the mineralized areas happened in 1938. The French mined there until 1990 through two cooperatives.

We would next go to the Nomad tents, where you could see how the Berbers inhabit. You will experience their way of life, see their culture, and play with the joyful kids. The nomadic families are friendly. They will host you with joy and share their stories.

After all that, we will drive across the Erg Chebbi dunes until we get to the hotel. Check in to your room and get to the swimming pool.

Day 05 :
Merzouga Desert to Ouarzazate

In Rissani, you will visit the local market, the Donkey Park, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif. Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays are the best days to visit Rissani.

Jump back to your car with a 4-hour drive to Ouarzazate through Nkob Kasbah and Agdez. Stop for lunch in the middle of Ouarzazate city. Later, we'll drive back to Marrakech, making frequent stops for photos. Your tour guide will drop you back at your riad.

Day 06 :
Discover Marrakech City

The 7-day tour from Marrakech hasn’t ended yet. At 9 a.m., a local guide will go with you to explore the history of the red city. You’ll go exploring the highlights of Marrakech.

Begin your tour at the Koutoubia Mosque. It is the tallest mosque in Marrakech, featuring a tower that is 70 meters high. The minaret is an outstanding example of Hispano-Moorish architecture.

Continue to Bahia Palace. It's set among beautiful grounds filled with fruit trees and sweet-smelling flowers. Workers built the palace in the 1800s. It is the largest palace from that time.

Marble graves of Saadian princes and their relatives. The tombs illustrate the Saadian dynasty’s power and refinement. Move to another beautiful spot called El Badi Palace. The El Badi Palace is an essential component of the history and culture of Marrakech. The royal house hosts many cultural events. These include concerts and art displays.

Next, you’ll explore the medina. You can wander through the winding souks and see artisans create their masterpieces.

After all, we will come back to the riad. Overnight stay in a traditional riad.

Day 07 :
Transfer to RAK Airport
