Itinerary
In the morning, our driver will pick you up from the airport or your hotel in Casablanca. Then, you will visit the Hassan II Mosque. This is the second largest mosque in Africa and holds 100,000 worshippers. The mosque features beautiful and intricate designs. Next, we'll go to Rabat and enjoy the stunning views on the way. Arriving in Rabat, Morocco’s capital city. We’ll visit Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, and Oudaya Kasbah. At lunchtime, we’ll cross the Riff Mountains. We’ll enjoy stunning views and see the charm of Chefchaouen, the blue city. Chefchaouen lies in the Rif Mountains, surrounded by oak and pine trees. It’s a popular spot for tourists. You can enjoy stunning views during your stay.
In the morning, meet your local guide. Then, begin your full-day tour of Chefchaouen. First, visit the old Medina. Walk through its blue-washed alleys and learn about the city's history. Wandering the blue-painted streets offers a great experience. The bright colors of the buildings, doors, and windows create a magical, peaceful vibe. Next, visit the Spanish Mosque in Chefchaouen. It provides a beautiful view of the Blue City. In the late afternoon, check out Plaza Uta El Hammam. This lively square has many activities, such as musicians and dancers. In the late afternoon, it will take you to your accommodation, where you will spend the night.
After breakfast at your accommodation in Chefchaouan. We'll cross the Riff Mountains on our way to Ouazane. We'll take time to admire these amazing mountains. Our goal is to reach Fez by the afternoon. On the route, we’ll stop at Volubilis, a preserved Roman ruin and UNESCO World Heritage site. Next, we’ll head to Meknes. There, we’ll have lunch and see the stunning Bab Mansour gate. This grand entrance is in the old town of Meknes. After that, we’ll explore the Moulay Ismail mausoleum. Arriving in Fes, we'll transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.
After breakfast, you will meet your private tour guide. Then, enjoy a guided city tour of Fes, the first imperial city of Morocco. This UNESCO World Heritage Site began in the 9th century. It houses the oldest university in the world. The first stop of the morning is a visit to the entrance of the largest royal palace in Morocco. Then, we'll drive to the southern tower of Fes. From there, we can enjoy stunning panoramic views of the medina. Then, we’ll visit a pottery co-operative where they make tiles and Moroccan mosaics. We will visit the tanneries to watch the locals working with the skins of animals such as goats, camels, and cows. We'll visit a Medrassa (Koranic school). Then, we'll admire the Nejjarine fountain. Finally, we'll check out the Moulay Idriss mausoleum. Also, we'll see the Karaouine Mosque University. Enjoy a Moroccan lunch at a traditional restaurant in the medina. Next, explore the medina. Its narrow alleys are home to many merchants and craftsmen. They offer many products. This includes dates, fish, spices, copper urns, and musical instruments. In the late afternoon, we will transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.
After breakfast at your accommodation in Fes, we head through the Middle Atlas. First, we stop in Ifrane, known as “the little Switzerland of Morocco.” Here, you can enjoy a coffee and visit the Atlas Lion Statue. Next, we head to Cedar Forest, the biggest forest in Morocco. Here, you can see Barbary apes and quaint Berber villages. You can see monkeys in the wild. You’ll also get to feed them and take memorable pictures. Stop for lunch in lovely Midelt, nestled between the Middle and High Atlas. Enjoy stunning views of the eastern High Atlas. This varied itinerary takes you from north to south. You’ll see diverse sights in the scenic mountains. Here, nomadic shepherds live and move with their herds of goats and sheep. Check out the legendary Ziz Valley. It stretches along a deep canyon to Erfoud, the date capital.
In the late afternoon, you will arrive at the Merzouga Desert. There, you’ll meet your camel guide. Then, set off on a camel ride through the dunes. Enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. Watch the sunset, then head to your desert camp. Spend the night in the desert. Enjoy a special drumming party by the campfire.
Wake up early to see a breathtaking sunrise over the stunning dunes of Merzouga. It’s a spectacular way to start your day. After breakfast at your desert camp, enjoy the stunning views of the Sahara. We will head to Tinghir through Jorf. You'll enjoy stunning views of the Tafilalet palm tree oasis along the way. Then, we pass through Berber villages along the way. Stop in Melaab to try on a Berber wedding dress. You can also get henna, the Moroccan tattoo, if you want. At Todra Gorges, Morocco's tallest and narrowest gorges, you can stroll by the river. It's a great spot for mountain climbers! Next, we’ll drive to Dades Gorges. You'll see stunning sandcastles and the rock formation called “The Monkey Fingers.” Then, we'll take the wavy road of Tisadrine to watch a beautiful sunset. Finally, we’ll transfer you to your accommodation for the night in Dades Valley.
In the morning, we continue our 7-day tour from Casablanca to Marrakech. We’ll take the road of 1000 Kasbahs and pass through Kalaat M’gouna, the Rose City. Here, you can visit a local cooperative for cosmetic products if you like. Then head to the rose valley, offering breathtaking photo opportunities. A stop in Skoura allows you to explore Ameridil Kasbah, one of the ancient kasbahs in the region. Next, we travel to Ouarzazate. There, we stop to check out the film studio and Taourirt Kasbah.
In the late afternoon, drive to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. This UNESCO World Heritage site is famous for its stunning scenery. It has been the backdrop for films like Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and The Mummy. Following that, we continue our 7-day tour traversing the Tizi N'Tichka pass (2260 m). On the way to Marrakech, enjoy stunning views of the High Atlas Mountains. There’s a stop at the Tizi N'Tichka pass, perfect for amazing photos. Afterward, we head to Marrakech. In the late afternoon, we will drop you off at your accommodation or the airport in Marrakech.
