Overview
Experience the top Moroccan Sahara Desert tour! Travel from Marrakech to Iriqui National Park and Chegaga Dunes. The tour goes via Taznaght and Foum Zguid, the last city before the desert. You’ll spend one night in Bivouac les Nomades desert camp. Then, you’ll visit M'hamid, Zagora, Agdz, Ouarzazate, Aït Benhaddou, and Tizi n'Tichka. After that, you’ll return to Marrakech.
The Marrakech Desert Tour starts in Marrakech. It goes to Iriqui National Park. There, you stay the night at “Bivouac Les Nomades." Then, we cross the dunes of Chagaga towards the desert of M’hamid. From there, we reach the palm grove of Zagora and spend the night in a traditional kasbah. We visit the famous Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou before returning to Marrakech.

Itinerary
Your guide and driver, who speak English, will meet you at your hotel, riad, hostel, or the Marrakech airport. They will come in a luxury, air-conditioned 4x4 at 8:00 AM. You will start your desert tour in the High Atlas Mountains and Tizi-n-Tichka. Then, we'll turn right at the edge of the Atlas Mountains to reach Taznakht; it's the carpet capital of Morocco. We will visit the city and the carpet associations. Women make carpets at Lake Iriki. Then, we will turn left to the big dune of Lake Iriki called Erg Elmhazil. We will finally reach the desert camp of Bivouac les Nomades. Your camel team will be ready to take you after a welcoming tea to the big dune to see the sunset from the top of the dune. In the night, you will enjoy nomadic traditional music around the fire. You will have your private tent and a shared shower and
After breakfast at Bivouac les Nomades, we'll cross the rest of the dry Lake Iriki to reach Chegaga. From there, we'll go to M'hamid, where the past ends and the paved road starts. In Tamagrout, we'll visit Morocco's oldest Koranic libraries. Then, we'll go to the pottery factories near the Kasbah. After that, we'll continue to Zagora, where we'll sleep tonight.
Today's route will be beautiful. We'll spend all our time driving through the Draa Valley, a green oasis and old villages. You will receive lunch in Ait Ben Haddou. We'll visit the old Kasbah. Then, we'll continue to the high Atlas Mountains, crossing Tizi-n-thick
